Fees
Nurtured NOLA Evaluation and Therapy does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider for all insurance plans. You may contact your insurance provider regarding out-of-network benefits. Nurtured NOLA can provide you with a superbill, but it is the client’s responsibility to handle all insurance-related tasks. We cannot guarantee that your insurance company will provide reimbursement.

Therapy, parenting, and coaching sessions are priced as follows. Payment is due at the time of service.
Mariel Aken, LPC-S: $145/50-minute session
Allison Asher, Ph.D., NCSP: $175/50-minute session
Group therapy fees vary based on the group composition and length.

Testing is billed at $245/hour plus $490 for the written report. As each client is unique, our psychologist will determine in discussion with you what the evaluation will include. Our comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations usually entail the following.
A one-hour parent (for minors) or client (for adults) intake session.
Four hours of direct assessment. Testing sessions are spread over two two-hour sessions or four one-hour sessions. Occasionally, additional testing time may be required (charged at the hourly testing rate) depending on the referral concerns and client work pace.
A one-hour feedback session to discuss the results and recommendations. A copy of the report is provided at the feedback session.
Associated fees are spread out over the course of the evaluation process. The typical total cost of a comprehensive psychoeducational evaluation is $1960. Any modifications to this typical process and fee schedule will be discussed with you in advance.

Preschool and Kindergarten gifted testing is charged at a flat fee of $475.
Gifted testing for students in Grade 1 or higher is charged at a flat fee of $575.
Fees include testing time, a written report, and a phone discussion describing the results.
